After six years in the making, the first oil-painted animated featured film, Loving Vincent, will be screened in the Philippines in November.

The movie was directed by Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welchman, and starring Douglas Booth (Jupiter Ascending), Polish actor Robert GulaczykEleanor Tomlinson (Poldark), Jerome Flynn (Game of Thrones), and Saoirse Ronan (The Grand Budapest Hotel). According to their website, they hired 125 oil painters and made over 65,000 frames in the film.

The story focus on the unfortunate life and mysterious death of the impressionist artist, Vincent Van Gogh.
