SPENDING days in training: that’s what Xyruz Cruz‘s doing for his preparation of his upcoming series of international tournaments abroad before the start of the Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia next year. Despite his busy schedule in showbiz, he still has time to train in karatedo in Ultra.
Xyruz is a Jordanian-Filipino athlete-model-actor. He is a member of Karatedo, Philippine Team and won a Silver Medal recently held in Thailand this year and joined the SEA Games 2017 held in Malaysia.
He entered show business when he was introduced in Maryo J. Delos Reyes‘ Bamboo Flowers in 2013. His TV break when he appeared as Katrina Halili‘s real husband in Magkano Ba Ang Pag-ibig?. He also appeared in several episodes in GMA drama anthology, Magpakailanman.
Xyruz is one of the talents of Production 56, Inc., a production house and talent company owned and managed by multi-awarded film and television director (and also his mentor) Maryo J. Delos Reyes. Actors who are part of the said talent company are Miggs Cuaderno, Nash Aguas, Masculados, Leandro Baldemor, Ruru Madrid, Orlando Sol, Neil Ryan Sese, Trio Tagapayo, Yul Servo, John Raspado, Romano Vasquez, Barbara Miguel, Will Ashley De Leon, and Nafa Hilario Cruz.
Last Tuesday, December 5, Congressman Yul Servo and the company with the Production 56, Inc. headed his manager, Director Maryo J. Delos Reyes tendered a thanksgiving dinner and early Christmas party to the members of entertainment press in Anabel Restaurant in Quezon City. Xyruz serenaded the press people with his own rendition of Ronnie Liang‘s Ngiti.
