AFTER the success of his smash hit sex-comedy play “Solo Para Adultos” (For Adults Only), John Raspado is excited to perform again next year. He appeared in a lead role in the said controversial play staged recently at the Music Museum. He portrayed the lead role of JV San Miguel, a closeted gay actor who involved with an aspiring actor, Alfred (Vivo Ouano).
This Saturday, December 9, celebrates his birthday during QC LGBT Pride March. The event starts at 1 PM in Tomas Morato near Hotel Rembrandt, and the parade starts at 3 PM. Admission is free.
The QC Pride March is an annual LGBT pride event, and one of the initiatives of the partnership between the Quezon City Pride Council (QCPC) and LGBT individuals, groups and allies. The pride symbolizes the ongoing commitment of city to LGBT rights and equality.
After he became the Grand Winner of I Am PoGay of It’s Showtime (ABS-CBN), John represented the Philippines and competed for Mr. Gay World 2017 in Madrid and Maspalomas, Spain and won the title on May 10, 2017.
John is one of the new artists under Production 56, Inc., a production house and talent company owned and managed by multi-awarded film and television director Maryo J. Delos Reyes. Actors who are part of the said talent company are Miggs Cuaderno, Nash Aguas, Masculados, Leandro Baldemor, Ruru Madrid, Orlando Sol, Neil Ryan Sese, Trio Tagapayo, Xyruz Cruz, John Raspado, Romano Vasquez, Barbara Miguel, Will Ashley De Leon, and Nafa Hilario Cruz.
