L.A SANTOS proved that he’s the real Singing Idol, because of his sold-out first major solo concert titled #Petmalu. It happened last Monday, April 30 at the Music Museum. It was jam-packed, and the audience couldn’t help, but to sing-along with LA.
The Grade 11 Tomasian sang the popular songs from the 80’s to the present. Not only he sings, he also showcased his dance moves, and his skill in rapping.
L.A was not alone in his own solo concert. He invited well-known celebrity guests, such as The Soul Diva Jaya, former La Diva singer Jona, singer Michael Pangilinan, Ian Veneracion, Boobsie Wonderland, and the 70’s-80’s music icons Imelda Papin, Claire dela Fuente, and Eva Eugenio. Lastly, with special participation of LA’s sister, Kanishia Santos.
The adorable Boobsie Wonderland was the front act of the event. The audience laughed at every jokes and punchlines she delivered. It gave audience good mood before LA popped out on the stage.
The next guest was a young singer named Michael Pangilinan. Michael is one of LA Santos’ closest friends in showbiz.
The music icons, Eva Eugenio and Claire dela Fuente sang their classic anthem, Tukso and Sayang, respectively.
Next was a special appearance of Kanisha Santos singing her own rendition of Lady Gaga’s Poker Face. After that he had a duet number with her elder brother.
L.A and Jona sang Almost is Never Enough popularized by Ariana Grande and Nathan Sykes. After this, Jona stunningly performed, Maghihintay.
L.A Santos sang Ikaw Lamang with none other than Jaya.
The guest received a huge scream from the audience was Ian Veneracion. Ian and LA sang Two Less Lonely People in the World by Air Supply. Ian continued to sing two songs while his playing his guitar.
J.E.D.I. (Joed Entertainment Department Incorporated) founder, Joed Serrano commented about the said event: “Well at least hindi ako nagkamali. LA is a promising personality. Di biro gnawa nyang pagsabay sa mga guests nya & the confidence onstage ay magaling. We now only need a hitsong and that is ‘Tinamaan’.” He said.
“Next move is to do an album tour. Campus and mall tour while ishoo-shoot ang movie na introducing siya at ang title ay yung song niya.” Joed added
Mommy Flor Santos is very proud of her son’s achievement. “Proud na proud ako sa aking anak, and he really deserves it, because he proved he can perform well on stage in his first solo concert. We always here to support him.”
