ALMOST IN tears, Max Collins considers herself lucky to be the one chosen to portray Jessie in “Bihag“.

Just married to actor Pancho Magno, Max admitted that they are already looking forward to that day when they could be proud parents to an angel here on earth.

“Both of us are so focused in our works. The reason why we want to spend so much time with each other before the baby comes. Kasi, we still want to travel more pa.

“But when this role came, na wala pa naman ako experience as a Mom, it has been teaching me parenting skills sa nararamdaman ko with the scenes I share with Raphael, as our Ethan. May scenes na baby muna siya. And iba nga ‘pag nahawakan mo na ang baby. I think, this is preparing me for that bigger role in real life. I am excited. But add to that, nag-research din ako especially sa scenes na kinuha na sa amin ang bata.

“May action na rin akong scenes kasi may moments na nakikipaghabulan ako in the scene. Or lumalaban. Ayoko rin naman kasi to use a double. May confrontation. Sampalan. Masarap sampalin si Jason, eh. Comfortable na kasi kami sa isa’t isa. Magaling si Sophie. Love na love ko siya.

“Marami akong pegs na pinag-aralan. Different actors from different movies like ‘Taken’. Pero ipinagamit sa akin ng acting coach ko ‘yung kailangan na mas malapit siya to my personality. ‘Yun ang binuo ko.

“Yun lang, I get too engrossed with my character kaya nadadala ko sa bahay pag-uwi ko. Kaya my husband will ask me kung ano na naman ang problema ko. Ang bigat, eh. Lagi akong depressed. Good thing supportive my hubby and he understands my journey with my character.”

April 1 is the date that “Bihag” will be seen in GMA-7s newest Afternoon Prime series.

A thought-provoking tale of how one mistake can lead to another showcases the loce and bittersweet revenge on how far one can go to take back what is rightfully hers.

Created by the GMA Drama Group, it is headed by the SVP for Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, VP for Drama Redgie A. Magno, AVP for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, Senior Program Manager Redgynn S. Alba and Executive Producer KJ Corpus.

Sa isang iglap, maglalaho ang lahat. Drama at its finest!
