THE “P” TALKS!

BACK FROM the boxing ring in Las Vegas, Nevada, US where he once again proved that he is still The King of the Ring, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao is back to his normal life. A husband to Jinky. A dad to their kids. And a servant at the Senate.
Asked about his son Jimuel’s plan of following his footsteps as a boxer, Manny answered the interview at the ELJ Building matter-of-factly, “He really wants to box! Pero ayaw ko. Mahirap ang boxing.”
He added, “Kung gusto niya talaga, one day i-training ko siya. Ako ang magsu-supervise ng hard training talaga. If not, don’t get into it.
“Yan ang gagawin ko sa kanya. Hard super training talaga. Not regular. ‘Pag nagustuhan niya at na-survive niya, ituloy natin. Suportahan ko siya. If hindi niya kaya ang discipline, kailangan niyang kalimutan ang boxing.”
That would be a tough act to follow for Jimwel. Though he’s been slowly inching his way to the boxing rings, he should take after his father.
Guesting on the afternoon Sunday show of tita Norma Marco on DZMM, reporter Ara Perez got to know the Boxer’s Tatlong Sentimo favorite songs of all time: Whitney Houston’s “One Moment in Time”, Lionel Richie’s “Hello” and The Williams Brothers’ “Can’t Cry Hard Enough”.
“Hugot” songs in The Boxer’s Life. The Wins. And losses. The loves. And the tears from the pains. The victories. In such a blessed life!
