THE COLOR she carries epitomizes what Congresswoman (of San Jose del Monte Bulacan) Florida “Ate Rida” Robes is all about!

The love of her partner, the Mayor of SJDM, Arthur Robes, the duo has become the power couple that Bulakeños look up to-in all aspects of life.

The couple, in their daily grind is filled with activities which aids in augmenting the needs of their beloved province.

Ate Rida never misses meeting her entertainment and social media friends for the updates that she is doing for SJDM. In the name of transparency, she loves seeing the smiles for a job well done in each and every day.

For someone with a thankful heart, Ate Rida never goes out wih such words and deeds for people who has been extending their help to her.

In a Thanksgiving and early Christmas treat she shared with the media-apart from her beloved husband, Ate Rida thanked the actor who dreamt of being a politician, Phillip Salvador for the efforts he has extended to the couple for so many times-on the vampaign trail and the projects they spearheaded.

Another person who Ate Rida wishes to see again is Senator Bato dela Rosa.

“In fairness to him, he promised a PNP Building for the security and safety ng mga Bulakeños. Hinihintay lang namin ‘yun. And am sure naman, mahaharap din niya kapag hindi na siya abala.

She added, “Ang isang proyekto naman eh, hindi isa o dalawang tao lang ang tumatapos. Nandyan din sina Senator Nancy Binay and Mark Villar. Para sa aming sports complex naman at marami pang pangangailangan na makakatulong sa pagpapa-alwan ng buhay ng bawat Bulakeño.”

It was supposed a day of just plain and simple tsikahan for Ate Rida and the media. But it can’t be helped to ask her about SJDM.

The indefatigable Ate Rida is never at a loss for things she can share to her press friends. SJDM never runs out of the Congresswoman’s daily activities.

Now that the Christmas Season is just weeks away, she has already planned and scheduled fun-filled activities for the Bulakeños and guests they will invite on the Christmas Tree Lighting that will take place on their Municipal Hall come December 18, 2019 after her Volunteerism project on the 16th of December just in time for the Simbang Gabi.”

And there is another very big project the whole of SJDM will do come Christmas Day for Bulacan, the Philippines and the whole world. Something to look forward to!

Ate Rida’s vision is all focused on how the Bulakeños will have an easy life.

“We have opened an LYI office para hindi na sila sa Sta. Maria tutungo. Thn, inaayos na ang PWD Building (for Persons With Disablities). At noon pa man, ang mag-asawang Lucy Torres at Richard Gomez ay kaakibat din naming mag-asawa sa mga proyekto ng bawat isa. Matagal na namin silang kaibigan. Mula pa nang tumakbo si Richard sa Bulacan. Kaya nagtuluy-tuloy lang ang pagkakaibigan. Kay Philip naman, alaga rin ni Daddy ‘yung kapatid niya. Tisoy kung tawagin ‘yun ni Dad.”

Should the issues on EDSA as in the traffic be placed upon her shoulders, no doubt, Ate Rida will have her piece of mind, or the Cooperatives that will benefit the farmers and more.

There are so many issues that we are faced with every day. In life. In love. Where we live in.

A lady like Ate Rida is always a breath of fresh air to have around. As she addresses issues on mental health and depression. as she looks after the mother and the children. as she checks on the new infrastructures that the future generation will be blessed with.

She has the heart. And Pink is the color of her never-tiring heart with her left forefinger pointing upwards and placed near the heart.

The Rising City which is now becoming a Creative City blooms and booms. Thanks to this Lady!
