THE “P” TALKS!
BY: Pilar Mateo
BEFORE 2020 came in, a devastating news about former showbiz denizen Jenny Roa surfaced.
It linked her to drugs.
But she denied the accusations hurled at her. She said that she just wanted to lose weight never leaving home, not even getting out of her room.
Hopefully, she has gotten out of the rot she made herself get into. She wishes to be given a chance again in show business.
Is someone listening?
NEWS have it that Rey Abellana‘s darling daughter Carla Abellana shared about how devastating 2019 has been for her.
Physically. Emotionally. Psychologically.
Now, Carla hopes to better herself and say goodbye to that painful chapter of her life.
Then, her mother studio and her management should make an effort to give the good actress more projects that will keep her focused in her career.
Maybe it’s about time that Carla be given bolder and daring acting challenges. No, not to show some skin but deeper than just being a pretty face nor a sexy bod.
Keep her away from depressing situations!
I HAD a very good laugh when I watched Coco Martin‘s “3Pol Trobol: Huli Ka, Balbon!”
Essaying a disguise as Paloma to get to the truth and find justice in the death of his Boss, Apollo Balbon had to face life’s twists and turns to be able to get the ledger that will set him free!
As the years get going, Coco continues to be a truthful action star in what he does.
In this project, his being a director as Rodel Nacianceno only stamped his vision of following in Da King’s footsteps.
I dunno! But the stunts he did, thanks to Lito Lapid gave that excitement to the viewers and remembering FPJ, especially his fight scenes on horseback. Si FPJ lang ang gumagawa at may tatak nu’n!
Coco is both beautiful and handsome. Shrieks and laughter filled the cinema especially with his Paloma character.
Made us think and wonder-if he will really do a gay character in a future project, will he be able to tackle a Dolphy, ala “Facifica Falayfay” in 2020!
Pwede naman siguro for as long as it’s a crisp script!
Just like what he does in his movies, it seems like Coco has taken hold of a good formula to keep his audience coming back!
